How to Track a Delhivery Shipment
- Find your AWB number. It is in the shipping SMS or email from the seller, or under order details in the shopping app. On a Delhivery label it is printed next to the barcode as the waybill / AWB number.
- Open the official tracking page. Use the button above to go to delhivery.com/tracking.
- Enter the number and search. Paste the AWB number into the tracking box. You can also track several AWB numbers at once on Delhivery’s page.
- Read the timeline. You will see each scan, the hub it happened at, and the expected delivery date when Delhivery has one.
Delhivery AWB Number: What It Looks Like
A Delhivery AWB (air waybill) or waybill number is a long numeric code, usually 13 to 14 digits. It is not the same as the order ID from Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho or a brand’s website. If the tracking page says “invalid”, check that you copied the courier AWB and not the shop’s order number.

Delhivery Tracking Status Meanings
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Shipment booked / Manifested | The seller or sender has created the label. Delhivery may not have picked the parcel up yet. |
| Picked up / In transit | The parcel is moving between hubs. Gaps of a day or more between scans are normal on long routes. |
| Reached destination hub | The parcel is in the delivery city and will be assigned to a local delivery centre. |
| Out for delivery | A delivery agent has the parcel. It usually arrives the same day. |
| Delivery attempted / Undelivered | The agent could not deliver (address issue, no one available, phone not reachable). A re-attempt usually follows. |
| Delivered | Handed over at the address. If you did not receive it, ask family, neighbours or security, then raise a complaint. |
| RTO (Return to origin) | The parcel is going back to the sender after failed attempts or a cancelled order. |
Delhivery Tracking Not Updating? Try This
- Just booked: new shipments can take a few hours to show any scans. Check again later in the day.
- No movement for 1–2 days: parcels are only scanned at hubs, so long routes, Sundays and holidays can leave gaps.
- No update for 4–5 working days: contact Delhivery support through the help section of its website or app, and keep your AWB ready.
- “Delivered” but not received: check with neighbours or building security first, then raise a complaint with Delhivery and inform the seller the same day.
- Wrong address or reschedule: sellers can update some details; for marketplace orders, start from the shopping app.
Delhivery Delivery Time
For most express e-commerce shipments, deliveries within the same city usually take 1–2 days and between states 2–5 working days. Remote pin codes, heavy surface shipments, festival sales and weather can add time. The expected date on Delhivery’s tracking page is the best estimate for your parcel.
Delhivery Tracking FAQs
Can I track Delhivery without an AWB number?
Delhivery’s tracking works best with the AWB. If you only have an order ID from a shopping app, track the order in that app; it will show the courier and AWB once shipped.
Why does Delhivery tracking say “invalid AWB”?
Usually the number is mistyped, has a space, or is the shop’s order ID. New bookings can also take a few hours to appear.
Can I track multiple Delhivery parcels?
Yes. Delhivery’s official tracking page lets you enter more than one AWB number at a time.
