This Privacy Policy explains what information courierztracking.com collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to everything on the courierztracking.com website.
We have tried to write this in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because a privacy policy nobody can read is not much of a policy.
If you have a question about anything here, email us at m912026g@gmail.com.
Who we are
courierztracking.com is an independent directory and reference guide for courier tracking in India. We are not a courier company, we are not affiliated with any courier company, and we do not carry or deliver shipments. Our website address is https://courierztracking.com.
For any privacy question, correction or deletion request, the contact point is m912026g@gmail.com.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a mailing list.
- Your tracking number is never sent to us. It is handled entirely inside your own browser.
- We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read, and Google AdSense to show advertising.
- Those two services set cookies, and Google may use them to personalise the ads you see.
- You can switch off personalised advertising at any time, and we explain how below.
Your tracking number
This is the point people most often worry about, so we will be specific.
When you use the tracking tool on this site, you type a tracking number and choose a courier. That information is processed entirely by code running inside your own web browser. It is used to copy the number to your clipboard and to open the correct courier’s official tracking page.
The tracking number is not transmitted to our servers. It is not written to any database. It is not logged, stored, sold or shared with anyone. We could not tell you what tracking numbers have been entered on this site today, because we do not have that information.
Once you land on a courier’s own website, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours.
Information we do collect
Information you send us deliberately
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We keep that correspondence so we can handle your query and any follow-up, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
Automatically collected technical information
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested. These typically include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page you requested, the page that referred you, and the date and time. This data is used to keep the site running, diagnose faults and detect abuse.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, connected through the Google Site Kit plugin, to understand how the site is used: which guides are read, how visitors arrive, and which pages are not working well. This tells us things like “138 people read the home page last month”. It does not tell us who those people are.
Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data on our behalf. You can read how Google handles this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. This site uses three kinds.
- Essential cookies. Needed for the website to function and for basic security. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics, as described above, to count visits and measure which content is useful.
- Advertising cookies. Set by Google and its advertising partners, as described in the next section.
You can delete existing cookies and block new ones through your browser settings. Every major browser allows this, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site, though some things may behave differently.
Advertising
This website is free to use and is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site. We do not control the cookies they set. Where those vendors participate in industry opt-out programmes, you can manage them through the links above.
Opting out of personalised advertising does not remove ads. It means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.
A form we used to run
We want to be upfront about this rather than quietly leave it out.
Between roughly March 2026 and September 2026, this website displayed a form that invited visitors to submit a tracking number together with a name and an email address, described as a way to receive tracking updates. Those updates were never actually sent, and the form has now been removed from every page on the site.
If you submitted your details through that form and would like the record deleted, email m912026g@gmail.com and we will remove it. You do not need to give a reason.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade it.
Data is handled by the following service providers in the course of running this website:
- Hostinger, our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs.
- Google LLC, for Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above.
Each of these processes data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep things
- Server logs are retained by our host for a short period, typically a few weeks, and then rotated out.
- Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration and is aggregated rather than identifiable.
- Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
- Records from the removed form will be deleted on request, as described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over personal data we hold about you.
- The right to ask what data we hold and to receive a copy of it.
- The right to have inaccurate data corrected.
- The right to have your data deleted.
- The right to object to or restrict how we process it.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- The right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights arise under the GDPR. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you comparable rights. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion, and we confirm that we do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email m912026g@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.
Children
This site is a general-audience reference website about courier services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
External links
Our guides and our tracking tool link out to courier company websites and other third-party sites. We check these links, but we do not control those websites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. Once you follow a link away from courierztracking.com, this policy no longer applies. We would encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect this website, including serving all pages over an encrypted HTTPS connection and keeping the site’s software up to date. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we hold very little personal data in the first place, which is the most effective protection there is.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes or as the law does. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page. We would encourage you to check back occasionally.
